Welcome Habitat Bicycle Challenge Alumni! First, thank you for being such a big part of the HBC family - we wouldn't be where we are today without you. Over the years, we have had 637 riders complete the Habitat Bicycle Challenge, covering a total of 2,500,000 miles and raising over 2,300,000 dollars! With all the money we've raised, HBC has been able to underwrite the construction for over 20 Habitat homes.

Over the next couple of months, the newly-formed Habitat Bicycle Challenge Board of Directors will be organizing the first ever HBC Alumni Reunion in New Haven, Connecticut, and sending out the first ever HBC Alumni Newsletter. The newsletter will be mailed out this Spring, and our tentative schedule for the reunion is:

Saturday June 2, 2007:

  • HBC 2007 Sendoff, New Haven Green, 9am-12pm.

To make this happen successfully, we need your help! We are missing many updated addresses and contact information in our Alumni Database. Please fill out the form in the "Update Us" section if you'd like to be included!

In the long term, we hope to have an "Alumni Profile" section like the one we have for the riders, an annual newsletter, an annual reunion at the HBC sendoff, and an alumni support network for future HBC riders and fundraising.
